We are very excited to share our performance with our friends and family. Make sure you buy a production ticket so you don't miss out!!

Discovery Afternoon

Last Thursday we had a discovery afternoon. Miss Downes challenged us to make a tower out of marshmallows, pasta, 2 plastic cups, straws, cellotape, string, tooth picks and newspaper. The tower had to be strong enough to hold an egg. The team with the highest tower won.

We worked in small groups and had to plan what our tower would look like. Once we had finished our plan we worked together to build our tower. While we were building our towers we realised that we needed to change our plan because our towers were not going to be strong enough.

We all had a great time problem solving.

Well done to the winning team: Sam , Cade, Okashah, and Bella.

Here are a few photos we would like to share with you.

Planet Art

This week we have been working in groups of two or three making our own planets. We are using paper mache to cover ballons and once they are dry we are going to paint them. Once the planets are finished we are going to hang them in our classroom. Here are a few pictures of us making our planets
